This is a remote position.
The Fraud Analyst is responsible for monitoring transactions, identifying suspicious activities, investigating fraud cases, and recommending controls to minimize financial and operational risk. The role works closely with Product, Compliance, Engineering, Operations, and Risk teams to strengthen fraud prevention capabilities and enhance customer trust.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor transactions and identify suspicious or fraudulent activities.
Investigate fraud alerts, incidents, and customer disputes.
Analyze fraud patterns, trends, and emerging threats to recommend preventive measures.
Develop and maintain fraud detection rules and monitoring processes.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Operations teams to implement fraud controls.
Support root cause analysis and recommend process improvements.
Prepare fraud reports, dashboards, and key risk metrics.
Assist with fraud risk assessments and control reviews.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Support incident response and fraud awareness initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Risk Management, or a related field.
3–6 years of experience in fraud analysis, fraud operations, risk management, or financial crime.
Experience working in fintech, banking, payments, or digital financial services.
Strong analytical and investigative skills.
Experience interpreting transaction data and identifying fraud patterns.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

Fraud detection rules and risk controls
Payment fraud and chargeback management
Data analysis using Excel and SQL
Fraud reporting and dashboard creation
Knowledge of AML/KYC principles.
