We are looking for an experienced FrameCAD Draftsman to support ongoing cold-formed steel (CFS) framing projects.
Our immediate work involves drafting bathroom pod walls and ceilings, along with office partition walls, for production using a FrameCAD cold-forming machine.
This is not a one-time project. We have regular drafting requirements and are looking for someone reliable who can work with us long-term on a project-by-project basis.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare accurate framing layouts for bathroom walls, ceilings, and office partitions.
- Create FrameCAD-compatible production files ready for manufacturing.
- Work from architectural drawings, PDFs, CAD files, and project specifications.
- Prepare shop drawings, framing details, and revisions as required.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, practical, and suitable for machine production.
- Handle multiple assignments with consistent quality and quick turnaround.
What We're Looking For
- Proven hands-on experience with FrameCAD software or other software capable of producing FrameCAD-compatible machine files.
- Strong knowledge of cold-formed steel framing and light gauge steel construction.
- Previous experience with bathroom pods, modular construction, partition walls, or similar framing projects.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Fast turnaround times and clear, prompt communication.
- Availability to work with the New Zealand time zone (NZST/NZDT), with reasonable overlap during business hours.
Preferred Locations
India, Pakistan, Indonesia, or Bangladesh.
Project Details
- Type: Ongoing, project-based work
- Workload: Regular assignments depending on project requirements
- Start: As soon as possible
- Compensation: Negotiable based on experience and project complexity
To Apply, Please Answer:
- How many years of experience do you have using FrameCAD?
- Have you created actual production-ready files for FrameCAD machines?
- Can you share examples of previous bathroom pod, wall framing, or ceiling framing projects?
- Are you available to work with New Zealand business hours and respond promptly?
- What is your typical turnaround time for a small bathroom framing project?
Important: We are specifically looking for someone with real FrameCAD production experience, not just general AutoCAD or Revit drafting knowledge.
If you have the right experience, we'd be happy to discuss an initial project and build a long-term working relationship.
