I’m producing an educational YouTube segment built around a recorded interview/discussion and aimed squarely at a professional audience. The tone must stay formal and well-structured from the opening frame to the closing graphic, so I’m looking for someone who can guide the project through every production stage without drifting into a casual podcast feel.
Here’s the flow I have in mind:
• Pre-production: refine my topic brief into a clear interview outline, draft concise questions, and shape a logical arc that keeps viewers engaged while delivering practical take-aways.
• Production: capture a two-person, studio-style conversation with clean, balanced audio, consistent three-point lighting, and at least two camera angles for smooth cut-aways. Remote recording solutions are fine if you can still guarantee broadcast-quality picture and sound.
• Post-production: deliver a tight, distraction-free edit with lower-third titles, subtle motion graphics for key statistics, and chapter markers. On-screen text and any supplementary visuals must follow a uniform typography scheme to reinforce the formal tone.
Final deliverables
1. Master video (MP4, 1080p or higher) ready for YouTube upload
2. Separate .srt caption file
3. High-resolution thumbnail that matches YouTube’s 1280×720 spec
4. Project file(s) for future revisions (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve—your choice)
Acceptance criteria: audio peaks under −1 dB, dialogue recorded at 48 kHz, color-corrected to Rec. 709, and total runtime between 8–12 minutes unless we agree otherwise.
If this aligns with your skill set, let me know how you’d tackle the shoot, which gear or software you prefer, and your estimated turnaround time for each stage.
