Designer Required – Forest Café Project
We are looking for a creative and experienced designer/architect to design a Forest Café with a strong connection to nature.
The project involves designing both indoor and outdoor spaces, creating an experience where the architecture feels woven into the landscape rather than placed upon it.
Scope of Work
- Complete concept and theme development
- Indoor café design – seating, interiors, lighting, furniture, décor and material selection
- Outdoor café design – seating zones, pathways, landscaping and ambient lighting
- Integration of existing trees and natural surroundings into the design
- Entrance, façade and signage
- Creative photo-worthy / experiential spaces without making the café feel overly commercial
- Functional planning for kitchen, service, washrooms, storage and customer movement
- Selection of natural, sustainable and weather-appropriate materials
- Lighting and landscape planning
- 2D layouts, 3D visualisations/renders and execution drawings
- Coordination/support during execution, preferably
Design Vision
We are looking for a space that feels earthy, immersive, warm and organic—a café where the forest is not merely the backdrop but part of the architecture.
The design should balance:
Nature + Comfort + Functionality + Experience + Sustainability
Designer Profile
Preference will be given to designers with experience in:
- Cafés, restaurants or hospitality projects
- Landscape/outdoor space design
- Nature-based, rustic or eco-sensitive architecture
- Projects involving large outdoor areas
To Apply
Please share:
- Portfolio / previous relevant projects
- Location
- Scope of services offered
- Approximate design fee structure
- Expected design timeline
- Whether you provide site visits and execution supervision
Interested designers/architects may DM with their portfolio and contact details.
