FREELANCER MILESTONE: Global Kirtan App — Flutter Code Audit

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

We need an experienced Flutter developer to perform a thorough audit of our Kirtan App's source code. The project is built with Dart/Flutter and is live on Android. The review must cover platform-specific nuances, the shared Flutter codebase, and the supporting backend.

SCOPE OF AUDIT:

**1. Code Quality & Maintainability**
- Structure, readability, and design patterns
- State management choices and widget tree optimization
- Test coverage and overall maintainability
- Dependency management and library versions
- Technical debt and refactoring priorities

**2. Security Vulnerabilities**
- Insecure storage and data handling
- Improper network calls and API security
- Weak authentication and authorization logic
- Leaked keys, credentials, or sensitive data
- Exploitable packages or outdated libraries

**3. Performance Issues**
- Jank, frame rate drops, and rendering inefficiency
- Memory leaks and excessive heap usage
- Unnecessary widget rebuilds and overdraw
- Build size optimization (APK bloat)
- App startup time and responsiveness

**4. Backend & API Integration**
- API design and endpoint security
- Data synchronization and offline handling
- Error handling and resilience

DELIVERABLES:

1. **Written Audit Report (PDF or Markdown)**
- Each discovered issue with severity level
- Clear, actionable remediation steps
- Quantified performance metrics where applicable (e.g., FPS drops, build times, memory usage)
- Production-readiness assessment

2. **Code Annotations**
- Highlighted code snippets or annotated comments showing exact problem areas
- References to specific files, functions, or widgets

3. **Brief Correspondence**
- Follow-up answers to clarification questions (if needed)

ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA:

✓ Every major function, package, and critical feature is inspected
✓ All high-risk and critical items include step-by-step remediation guidance
✓ Performance findings are quantified (not just "could be faster")
✓ Report is delivered in PDF or Markdown within 2–3 days
✓ All code and infrastructure materials, if shared, are securely deleted within 48 hours post-delivery (per NDA)
