About the role
You will join Klar’s mobile development team as a Flutter Engineer working on a cross-platform codebase that powers multiple apps across Android, iOS, and Web. This role is central to advancing Klar’s mobile experience and scaling
You will work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver a secure, responsive, and delightful experience for users across platforms. This is a great opportunity to shape high-performance mobile and web applications with deep integrations across the product, analytics, and infrastructure stack.
We expect engineers to use AI as an integral part of the development workflow and to continuously improve how agents, tools, and automation are used to increase engineering quality and velocity.
The role is fully remote from EU.

Feature-based modular design
Comprehensive testing experience (unit, widget, integration, E2E tests)
Git workflow proficiency with branch management and PR processes
Code quality tools and static analysis
Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
Custom Gherkin-like testing framework
Automated screenshot testing
E2E test automation
What we are looking for:
5+ years of Flutter development experience
Strong Dart programming fundamentals
Experience with complex state management in large applications
API integration and data handling expertise
Testing mindset with experience in multiple testing approaches
Problem-solving abilities for complex technical challenges
Code quality focus with clean, maintainable code practices
Team collaboration in code reviews and technical discussions
Learning agility to adapt to new technologies and frameworks
Core Technical Requirements:
Flutter & Dart Expertise
Flutter 3.27.3+ and Dart 3.10.0+ proficiency
Strong experience with BLoC pattern and Cubit for state management
Understanding of clean architecture principles
Performance optimization and monitoring
Strong understanding of AI coding agents and agent harnesses, including context management, tool use, planning/execution loops, and permissions.
Ability to set up, configure, and tune coding agents for large codebases using project instructions, rules, skills, tools, and reusable workflows.
Experience using AI effectively across the software development lifecycle: exploration, implementation, refactoring, testing, debugging, code review, and documentation.
Ability to design AI workflows that produce reliable, repeatable results rather than relying on one-off prompts.
Valuable Experience:
Flutter for Web development
Firebase integration (Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance, Auth, Remote Config, etc)
CI/CD understanding (GitHub Actions preferred)
Monorepo management with tools like Melos
Custom UI components and design system implementation
Platform-specific integrations (biometrics, deep linking, push notifications)
Payment systems integration (3DS, wallet providers)
Marketing Platforms (AppsFlyer, Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager)
Security implementations (cryptography, MFA, secure storage)
Familiarity with BigQuery
Web development background
Native Mobile development background
Building custom agents, subagents, or reusable AI skills/workflows.
MCP or similar tool-integration protocols.
Creating repository-level AI conventions and shared agent configurations.
Evaluating agent performance across different models and workflows.
