The city has returned my commercial building’s structural plans with comments that must be resolved before they will issue the permit. Their review concentrates on overall structural integrity, calling out several load-bearing items that need clarification or redesign. I now need a Florida-licensed Professional Engineer to step in, address each comment, and resubmit a fully corrected, signed-and-sealed package.

You will be working with my existing CAD drawings, calculation set, and the official comment letter. I can provide the original model files (Revit and AutoCAD) along with soil reports and any past correspondence. Your task is to refine the structural scheme, update calculations where necessary, and ensure the plans align with current Florida Building Code requirements for load-bearing elements. Experience with wind and hurricane provisions for commercial structures is a plus, as the project is in a coastal county.

Deliverables I expect:
• A written response letter referencing every city comment and how it was resolved
• Updated structural drawings in PDF and DWG formats, stamped and signed for Florida
• Revised calculation package with clear load-bearing checks, likewise signed and sealed

Timing is important—once I receive your corrected set I can submit immediately for re-review. Let me know your estimated turnaround and any information you need from me to get started.
