I need an accomplished AutoCAD technician with a solid mechanical-design background (10 + years) to create the geometric layout of flat composite panels destined for aerospace components. The task centres on translating my existing AutoCad files into detailed flat panel layout and mechanical design of attachment brackets for securing the composite panels to the aircraft. The drawings need to be clean, production-ready CAD files that accurately capture every cut-line, hole pattern and assembly datum.

You will work exclusively in AutoCAD (any recent version is fine) and apply your deep understanding of flat panel geometry to ensure dimensional integrity, material-usage efficiency and straightforward manufacturability. I will supply all files containing baseline dimensions, stack-ups and laminate schedules and the criteria for creating flat panel geometry; your job is to turn that information into clear, fully-constrained drawings that will be acceptable to the U.S. government’s Aviation Command.

Deliverables
• DWG and DXF files of each panel outline, complete with layers clearly labelled for ply boundaries, trim, drill and reference points
• A single PDF set for quick review and mark-up
• A brief design note summarising any assumptions or critical tolerances

Acceptance criteria
• All geometry must close within ±0.1 mm of the provided envelope
• Hole locations must align to the supplied coordinate table; any deviation flagged back before final issue
• Files open error-free in AutoCAD and import cleanly into CATIA V5

If you have long-standing experience crafting flat composite panels and you are comfortable working to aerospace standards, I look forward to collaborating with you.
