A recent WordPress update broke the site-wide header and footer built with my header-footer plugin. Both elements still render, yet everything is out of place: the menu, logo and navigation links have shifted, spacing and alignment are off, and text, colours and buttons no longer match the theme. The problem appears on every single page, not just the home page.

The task is to trace whatever changed in the update—whether it is the plugin, theme overrides, or custom CSS/JS—then correct the code so the header and footer regain their original layout and styling across the entire site. Please make the fix in a child theme or custom CSS file so future core, theme or plugin updates do not undo the work.

Deliverables
• Header and footer display correctly on all pages, desktop and mobile
• Menu, logo and links are positioned as before and work normally
• Spacing, alignment, colours and button styles are restored to match the rest of the theme
• Brief changelog or notes outlining what was modified for future reference

Testing in multiple modern browsers before hand-off will confirm the issue is fully resolved.
