Fix Slow Legion 5i Wi-Fi

My brand-new Lenovo Legion 5i (i7, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD, RTX 5060) crawls through downloads even though the router is blazing fast for every other device in the house. Streaming, browsing, and gaming are mostly fine; it’s the moment I hit “Download” on Steam, Windows Update, or a large file that the connection drops to a trickle.
I’d like someone who can connect remotely (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, or your preferred secure tool) and get to the root of the problem—whether it’s a driver, adapter setting, hidden Windows service, firmware, or a conflicting app that I may have installed without realizing.
Deliverables I’ll accept
• Diagnose and apply a solution that restores download speeds to match the rest of the network.
• Show me the key changes you made so I can repeat them if needed after future updates.
• Quick test: a large file download finishing at the expected Mbps right after the fix.
If you’ve tamed Intel/Realtek Wi-Fi cards on gaming laptops before, you’ll probably solve this quickly. Let’s schedule a session and get my Legion back up to speed.
