We have an existing iOS app (PBK) and a more advanced Android version. We need an experienced iOS developer to stabilize the current app, bring it to feature parity with Android for the PBK 5.0 release, add a new AI receipt-scanning Widget, and deploy it to the App Store. Milestone 1 is paid as one payment; Milestone 2 is paid module by module; deployment is paid separately.
Milestone 1: Bug Fixes and Stabilization – Budget: ₹40,000, Timeline: 1.5 weeks
Fix duplicate transaction uploads
Fix transaction history issues (loading, display, data accuracy)
Fix bugs in the User module
Test all fixes so existing functionality isn’t broken
Milestone 2: PBK 5.0 (Following the Android App) – paid per module
Module 1 – Join Company: Let users join an existing company account.
Budget: ₹4,000, Timeline: 2 days
Module 2 – Merge Account: Merge user accounts while keeping all data intact.
Budget: ₹8,000, Timeline: 4 days
Module 3 – Plaid Integration and Transaction Categorization
Connect bank accounts via Plaid Link
Fetch connected banks and sync with the local database
Fetch bank transactions and sync with the local database
Categorize and uncategorize transactions, synced with the local database

Module 4 – Rules
Create rules to auto-categorize transactions

Edit and modify rules

Module 5 – Profit and Loss Calculation: Calculate P&L from the local database using both in-app cash transactions and Plaid bank transactions, combined accurately with no duplicates, matching Android’s logic.
Budget: ₹60,000, Timeline: 1 month
Module 6 – Chart of Accounts: Build the Chart of Accounts screen and logic to match Android.
Budget: ₹15,000, Timeline: 10 days
Module 7 – P&L Graph: Graph of categorized transactions (cash and Plaid), using the same data and logic as Module 5.
Budget: ₹15,000, Timeline: 8 days
Module 8 – Widget (AI Receipt Scanning)
Widget configuration: the user configures the widget by selecting a Company and a Transaction Type (Income or Expense)
Snap button: tapping Snap opens the camera (the widget deep-links into the app’s camera screen) so the user can photograph a receipt
AI extraction: AI scans the receipt and extracts memo, receipt date, amount, currency, category, and other available fields
Auto-fill: the extracted data pre-fills the existing Income/Expense upload form; the only input required from the user is the payment method (By Cash, By Card, or Others)
The existing upload flow then continues as normal
Budget: ₹60,000, Timeline: 1 month
App Store Deployment – Budget: ₹10,000 (token amount for both apps), Timeline: 1 week
After Milestone 2 is complete, deploy the app to the App Store as two separate apps from the same codebase, each with its own bundle identifier:
PBK – English version
CP – Spanish version
This includes setting up both targets/identifiers, localization for each version (including the Widget), building and signing, App Store metadata, submission, and handling any review rejections until both apps are approved. Payment is released once both apps are live on the App Store.
We will provide the Apple Developer account (you’ll be added as a team member), Spanish translations, screenshots, app descriptions, and privacy policy.

Payment Terms

Modules are delivered in the order listed unless agreed otherwise.
Each module includes a short handover note (what was built, database/API changes, how to test).
Bugs found later in an approved module are fixed at no extra cost.
