My Windows 11 desktop refuses to send an image through the GPU’s DisplayPort. When I plug the monitor in, the screen stays black and shows “No Signal,” yet Windows still detects the display in Settings and in Device Manager. If I switch to HDMI the same monitor works perfectly, so the panel and cable are sound—it is purely a DisplayPort problem.

I need someone who can remotely troubleshoot and permanently resolve this. That likely means checking driver packages, firmware versions, BIOS-level toggles, and any advanced Nvidia/AMD control-panel settings that could be forcing the wrong link rate or color profile. You may also want to walk me through DisplayPort-specific resets (power-cycle, DDC/CI off, hot-plug detection tweaks) or flash updated firmware to the GPU or monitor if required.

Deliverables
• Diagnose the exact cause of the no-signal behavior
• Apply or guide me through the fix until the DisplayPort input shows a stable picture at the monitor’s native resolution and refresh rate
• Provide a short write-up of the steps taken so I can replicate the solution in the future

I can share logs, screenshots, GPU-Z reports, or grant a supervised AnyDesk / TeamViewer session—whatever you prefer. Once the port is driving the display reliably, we’re done.
