ShoppingList is a custom family shopping application built with Blazor Server (.NET 8), Entity Framework Core, and SQLite.
The application allows users to manage products, shopping lists, recipes, customer loyalty cards, shopping history, archived receipts, and family-based data. Users belong to a family, and most data is filtered based on the assigned family. The application also supports different user roles (User, Administrator, and Super Administrator), push notifications, and PWA functionality.
The project is hosted in Azure and uses a service-based architecture for product management, shopping lists, user management, family management, notifications, and external integrations such as OpenFoodFacts.
The main issue that needs investigation is session persistence and authentication state management. Users should remain logged in after a page refresh, sessions should expire correctly, and navigation should consistently reflect the actual login state.
The project will be provided from a backup version. The preferred solution should be lightweight, fit the current architecture, and avoid unnecessary complexity or additional infrastructure unless truly required.
Users should remain logged in when refreshing the page. The session must be restored automatically after a page refresh and only expire after 48 hours of inactivity.
