FinJo Application Feature Testing

We are looking for a tester to validate the core financial and accounting features of our application, FinJo (short for Financial Journal).

Project Overview:

FinJo is designed to streamline bookkeeping by requiring users to input only their baseline journal entries and previous period opening balances. The application then automatically populates the core financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow) and generates real-time financial metrics.

Your Responsibilities:

Double-Entry Verification: Ensure all Debit (Dr) and Credit (Cr) postings map accurately across all automated financial statements.

Accounting Compliance: Verify that financial logic, statement structures, and calculated metrics strictly adhere to standard accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).

Defect Reporting: Identify calculation errors, mapping discrepancies, or edge-case anomalies, and compile your findings into a comprehensive testing report.
