# Freelancer Required: Startup Financial Modeling & Investor-Ready Financial Projections

## About MyArtist

MyArtistan early-stage **consumer social and live-streaming platform** being developed for the Indian market.

The platform will enable users to discover and interact with creators/artists through features such as:

* Live video streaming
* Virtual gifts using tokens/coins
* Reactions and paid engagement
* Private video/audio calls
* Group calls
* Creator monetization
* Interactive engagement features
* User and creator subscriptions/transactions where applicable

We are preparing MyArtist for an upcoming **seed fundraising round** and require an experienced financial-modeling professional to build a detailed, investor-ready financial model.

## Fundraising Context

Indicative fundraising assumptions:

* Funding requirement: approximately **₹5 Crore**
* Stage: Early-stage / MVP
* Initial target: approximately **5,000 users**
* Initial creators: approximately **100**
* Business model: Users purchase tokens/coins and spend them on creator interactions
* Creator revenue share: approximately **30% of eligible GMV**
* MITRO share: approximately **70% before applicable variable and operating costs**

All assumptions must remain editable in the final model.

## Scope of Work

The freelancer will build a comprehensive **3-year financial model**, with detailed monthly projections for at least the first 12–24 months.

The model should include:

### 1. User & Creator Growth Model

Model:

* Registered users
* DAU/MAU
* Paying users
* Paying-user conversion
* New users/month
* User retention/churn assumptions
* Active creators
* New creators/month
* Creator retention
* User-to-creator ratios

The model should support **Conservative, Base and Aggressive scenarios**.

### 2. Revenue & GMV Model

Build separate revenue assumptions for:

* Virtual gifts
* Reactions
* Private calls
* Group calls
* Live-stream engagement
* Fun/interactive features
* Other potential monetization

Include:

* Average revenue/spend per paying user
* GMV
* Creator payouts
* MITRO take rate
* Gross revenue/net revenue
* Revenue by feature
* Monthly and annual revenue projections

### 3. Unit Economics

Calculate:

* CAC
* ARPU
* ARPPU
* LTV
* LTV/CAC
* Creator economics
* Contribution margin
* Contribution margin per paying user
* Infrastructure cost per MAU
* Infrastructure cost per paying user
* Break-even analysis

### 4. Streaming & Technology Cost Model

The financial model must support inputs for:

* Agora/WebRTC streaming costs
* Public live broadcast
* Private video/audio calls
* Group calls
* Viewer/participant minutes
* Creator streaming hours
* Concurrent users
* CDN/bandwidth
* Video storage/recording
* PostgreSQL/database
* Redis/cache
* API/application servers
* Object storage
* Monitoring/logging
* Backup
* SMS/OTP/email
* Other cloud infrastructure

The model should allow us to test infrastructure requirements at approximately:

**5,000 → 10,000 → 100,000 → 500,000 → 1,000,000+ users**

Technical pricing assumptions will be reviewed with our engineering/cloud team.

### 5. Operating Expense Model

Include:

* Engineering payroll
* Moderators / trust & safety
* 24×7 moderation requirements
* Customer support
* Content team
* Creator operations/managers
* Sales/business operations if applicable
* Marketing
* Founder salaries
* Legal
* Accounting
* Compliance
* Software/SaaS
* Office/admin
* Recruitment
* Travel
* Other G&A
* Contingency

### 6. Marketing Model

Include:

* Monthly marketing budget
* CAC
* Paid acquisition
* Organic acquisition assumptions
* New users generated from marketing
* Conversion to MAU
* Conversion to paying users
* Marketing efficiency
* Revenue generated relative to marketing expenditure

We prefer a **CAC-driven user acquisition model** rather than simply assuming arbitrary monthly user growth.

### 7. P&L, Cash Flow & Runway

Prepare:

* Monthly P&L
* Revenue
* Cost of revenue
* Gross/contribution profit
* Operating expenses
* EBITDA / operating profit or loss
* Monthly burn
* Cash flow
* Opening/closing cash
* Funding inflow
* Runway
* Break-even month

### 8. ₹5 Crore Use-of-Funds Model

Clearly show how approximately ₹5 crore of investment would be allocated across:

* Technology/product
* Infrastructure
* Marketing
* Creator acquisition
* Moderation
* Operations
* Hiring
* Legal/compliance
* Working capital
* Contingency/runway

Include the milestones expected to be achieved using the funding.

### 9. Valuation & Cap Table

Include:

* Pre-money valuation
* Post-money valuation
* Investment amount
* Investor ownership
* Founder dilution
* ESOP pool
* Cap table
* Future-round dilution scenarios
* Conservative/Base/Aggressive valuation scenarios

Valuation assumptions should be clearly identified as assumptions and not presented as guaranteed company valuations.

### 10. Investor Dashboard

Create a clean executive dashboard showing important KPIs including:

* Registered users
* MAU/DAU
* Paying users
* Paying conversion
* Active creators
* GMV
* Revenue
* ARPU/ARPPU
* CAC
* LTV
* Contribution margin
* Monthly burn
* Cash balance

* Infrastructure cost/user
* Creator payouts

## Preferred Freelancer Experience

We prefer candidates with experience in one or more of:

* Startup financial modeling
* FP&A
* Fractional CFO services
* Consumer internet startups
* Social-media/social-discovery applications
* Creator economy
* Live-streaming businesses
* Gaming/entertainment platforms
* Marketplace businesses
* Subscription/token/virtual-currency business models
* VC/angel fundraising
* Startup valuation and cap-table modeling

CA/CFA/MBA Finance qualifications are beneficial but **practical startup financial-modeling experience is more important**.

## When Applying

Please provide:

* Your relevant experience
* 2–3 examples of startup financial models you have previously created, preferably anonymized
* Experience with consumer/social/live-streaming businesses
* Your proposed approach for MITRO
* Project timeline
* Fixed project quotation
* Number of revisions included
* Whether you provide a model walkthrough after completion

Please also briefly explain how you would model the following flow:

**Users → MAU → Paying Users → User Spend → GMV → Creator Payout → MITRO Revenue → Streaming/Variable Costs → Contribution Margin → Operating Expenses → EBITDA/Burn → Cash Runway**

Generic applications without demonstrating an understanding of startup unit economics and financial modeling may not be considered.

## Budget

**Open to proposals based on experience and quality.**

Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate previous investor-ready startup models rather than simply offering the lowest quotation.
