I’m compiling a fresh collection of short, read-aloud stories for children aged 6-8. Every tale must transport young readers on a lively fantasy adventure—think dragons that guard forgotten libraries, forests where trees talk, or underwater kingdoms ruled by curious seahorses—while seamlessly weaving in clear moral lessons.

The educational focus is firmly on morals: after each quest, children should feel they have learned something about making good choices, treating others well, and understanding right from wrong. The message needs to be obvious to a child without feeling preachy; humour, suspense, and imaginative twists are all welcome tools to achieve that balance.

Scope of work:
• Draft a set of original stories (4–6 pages or roughly 800–1,200 words each) calibrated to a second- to third-grade reading level.
• Provide a brief synopsis and one-sentence “take-away” moral for each story so parents and teachers can see the lesson at a glance.
• Deliver manuscripts in an editable format—Word or Google Docs is fine.

I’ll review each story for pacing, language simplicity, and how naturally the moral surfaces during the adventure. Once approved, I may request light revisions before final sign-off. If you love imaginative worlds and understand how to speak to young minds, I’d love to read your sample outline or a short excerpt to get started.
