Fantasy Light Novel Cover Art

I’m commissioning a full-colour illustration for my upcoming fantasy light novel. The scene should centre on my protagonist, with a clear mystical and enchanting atmosphere—shimmering lights, subtle magical motifs, and a sense of wonder that invites the reader in. A key supporting character can appear beside or just behind the lead, but the hero must remain the undeniable focal point.

I’ll supply a short blurb, detailed written references, and pose/clothing images for both characters. Please let the environment echo classic high-fantasy settings (think ancient forests, floating ruins, or moonlit citadels) while still leaving generous negative space for the title and author name. The final art will be used both in print and online, so I need it delivered at 300 dpi, CMYK-ready, and large enough for standard paperback trim; a layered PSD or Clip Studio file plus a flattened PNG/JPEG will cover my production needs.

To keep things clear, here’s what will count as “done”:

• Finished illustration at print resolution (layered + flattened versions)
• Composition that reserves safe areas for typography
• Colour palette and lighting that feel mystical and enchanting
• Two preview rounds for tweaks before final export

If you love painting expressive characters and lush fantasy backdrops, I’d love to see your portfolio.
