We’re looking for an animator for Pykhtun, a round, heavy fantasy boar in Spirit Riders. Start with a rough run cycle to establish convincing leg movement and weight before completing the remaining animations.
The full-set budget is USD 150 for the animator; client platform fees are covered separately. The rough run is the first milestone within the full project, not a separate USD 150 test. If platform deductions apply to your earnings, please flag them and quote the gross contract amount needed to receive USD 150 net before any contract is agreed. Please quote for the complete set and explain any scope simplification needed to fit the budget before work begins.
Full set: idle; hoof-stamp/scrape with dust followed immediately by a jump (no pause after dust); jump; landing; run; reappearance from a wall onto a shelf; a shot from an organic seed-sac cannon on the back. For the shot the sac inflates with a clear colour/glow change, contracts and spits with recoil; the cannon must remain readable. The boar jumps from its wall shelf to a platform, runs toward the player, exits the camera and later reappears at its shelf.
Any workflow is welcome, including AI-assisted/generated animation, provided the result has natural four-legged movement, believable foot contacts/weight, consistent anatomy/proportions/silhouette and a smooth loop without jitter, sliding feet or disappearing body parts or cannon. The concept is AI-generated. Disclose your workflow and any commercial-use licensing restrictions.
First milestone: rough run for review, as part of the full project budget. The rest follows only after movement approval and agreement on the complete scope, price and milestone split. Deliver animation previews, frame sequences usable in Unity, timing/pivot information and editable source files where applicable. Final assets must permit commercial game use. Please include 1–3 animal/creature motion examples, proposed turnaround, revisions and deliverables. No unpaid custom test is requested.
