The project involves creating a complete inventory-management web application for my factory. It must run smoothly on both desktop and mobile browsers so that office staff and shop-floor supervisors can work with the same data in real time, whether they are at a workstation or walking the line with a tablet or phone.
Core scope
• Build a secure back-end that records stock levels, item movements, and basic audit history.
• Design a responsive front-end that adapts naturally from larger screens to handheld devices.
• Implement intuitive dashboards for quick status checks and printable or exportable reports.
• Provide user authentication with two or more roles (for example, administrator and operator) so access is controlled.
Acceptance criteria
1. All key inventory functions—adding, updating, transferring, and retiring items—must complete without page reloads.
2. The same URL, without separate mobile sub-domains, should pass Google’s mobile-friendly test.
3. Source code is handed over in a private Git repository, accompanied by a short deployment guide that lets my in-house IT team spin up a fresh copy from scratch.
When you respond, focus on your relevant experience with similar factory or inventory systems, the primary frameworks or stacks you prefer, and a high-level timeline to reach a first live version.
