Extract Text & Tables (PDF)

I have a collection of scanned PDF files that need to be converted into an editable digital format. Every word, number, heading, and table you see on the page must be reproduced faithfully—no selective copying, no omissions. The PDFs are already scanned; you’ll simply work from them and key everything in, preserving the original order and table layouts.

Accuracy is critical because this content feeds directly into our internal database. Please double-check spelling, punctuation, column alignment, and any merged cells so that the final file mirrors the source exactly, only now it’s searchable and ready for analysis.

Deliverables
• A single Excel workbook (or Google Sheet, if you prefer) containing:
 – Separate sheets for each PDF, labelled clearly
 – All visible text placed in its proper sequence
 – Tables recreated so rows, columns, and totals line up identically
• A brief completion note summarising any pages that were unclear or required interpretation

If you already use tools like Adobe Acrobat Pro, ABBYY FineReader, or similar OCR software, feel free—but manual verification remains essential to hit the accuracy mark I need. Let me know roughly how long you’ll need per file and, if you have one, a small sample of past PDF-to-spreadsheet work.
