I have a collection of PDF files that contain a mix of text and visuals. All I need from each file are the embedded images and graphic elements—no text or tables. Your task is to open every PDF, pull out every picture, and save each image at its original resolution.
Once the extraction is complete, place the images in clearly named folders that match the source file names. Alongside the folders, create a simple Excel sheet that lists:
• PDF file name
• Image file name
• Page number where the image appeared
That spreadsheet will serve as a quick index so I can locate any image instantly. Accuracy matters more than speed; every image has to be captured, named consistently, and referenced correctly in the sheet.
If you already use tools like Adobe Acrobat Pro, Able2Extract, or other reliable PDF-to-image utilities, let me know—anything that keeps the output crisp is welcome. Deliverables are the zipped folder of images and the Excel index.
