I’m looking for an experienced and reliable WordPress/WooCommerce developer for ongoing, project-based cooperation on an existing e-commerce website.
The website is already live and contains a large number of products, content, plugins, and customizations. It is built with WordPress and WooCommerce and uses the Porto theme. I need someone who can understand the existing website structure and help me continuously improve, fix, and develop different parts of it.
This is NOT a one-time project. There will be ongoing work, but we will work task by task. For example, I may need a bug fixed, a section redesigned, a page created or improved, a WooCommerce feature customized, a plugin issue resolved, or a new functionality implemented. We will discuss each task, agree on the scope and cost, complete it, and then move on to the next task.
The ideal developer should have:
* Strong experience with WordPress and WooCommerce
* Excellent knowledge of the Porto WordPress/WooCommerce theme
* Experience with Elementor
* Ability to troubleshoot plugin conflicts, bugs, and WooCommerce issues
* Ability to make customizations when necessary (PHP, CSS, JavaScript, hooks, etc.)
* Good understanding of responsive design and mobile optimization
* Attention to detail and the ability to work carefully on an existing live website
* Good problem-solving skills and some creativity when proposing solutions
* Fast and reliable communication
* Ability to complete smaller tasks efficiently without unnecessary delays
Budget is important for me. I am not looking for an agency or a developer with high hourly rates. I prefer to work with an independent freelancer who offers reasonable pricing and is interested in building a long-term working relationship.
There is no fixed amount of work per week. Some weeks may have several tasks, while other periods may have less work. The important point is that the website is continuously being developed, so there will regularly be new tasks and improvements.
For each task, I prefer to discuss the requirements first and agree on a fixed price whenever possible.
When applying, please tell me:
1. How much experience do you have with WooCommerce?
2. Have you worked specifically with the Porto theme? Please provide examples if possible.
3. Are you comfortable working with Elementor?
4. Can you handle both front-end changes, technical/debugging, and also back-end tasks?
5. What is your typical hourly rate, and are you open to fixed-price pricing for individual tasks?
6. Please share 2–3 relevant WooCommerce websites you have worked on.
Please do not send a generic proposal. Start your proposal with the word “PORTO Project” so I know you have read the full project description.
I’m looking for someone I can trust and continue working with over the long term, rather than hiring a different developer for every small task.
For the start, I have few tasks right a way.
