## Title
**Expert Needed: Recover Missing Encryption Keys from Overwritten iPhone Backup**
## Project Description
I need a specialist in iOS backup internals, cryptography, and digital forensics to recover data from an overwritten encrypted iTunes backup.
**Technical situation**
- Device: iPhone 14 Pro
- Original encrypted backup: 18 June 2026
- Later unencrypted backup overwrote the original metadata: 25 June 2026
- Original backup password is available.
- Many original hash-named payload files appear to survive on the SSD.
- Original per-file encryption-key records and associated metadata are missing.
**Required outcome**
Recover the original encryption metadata and per-file keys, then decrypt at least one surviving original payload as proof of feasibility. Reconstructing a file index alone or extracting unrelated files will not meet the objective.
**Who should apply**
Only specialists with hands-on experience in Apple backup encryption, BackupKeyBag, Manifest.db/Manifest.plist, cryptographic key recovery, or forensic recovery of overwritten database records.
**When applying, explain briefly:**
1. Your specific technical approach to this case.
2. Relevant prior experience with Apple encrypted backups or key recovery.
3. The first verification step you would perform to establish whether the original keys remain recoverable.
Generic data-recovery proposals without a case-specific technical approach will not be considered.
