Excel Macro Automation for Finance

I’m looking to streamline a set of financial spreadsheets by introducing reliable, well-structured macros. The files contain strictly financial data—no customer or inventory information—so the code must handle numbers, formulas, and summary reports with speed and accuracy.

Here’s what I need:
• A macro-enabled workbook (.xlsm) that performs the repetitive steps I currently execute by hand: importing monthly figures, cleaning and reformatting them, updating consolidated sheets, and producing a printable summary.
• Clear, in-cell or separate comments so I can follow the logic and maintain it later.
• Brief usage notes explaining any buttons or shortcut keys you add.

Acceptance criteria:
1. One-click execution completes without errors on Excel 2019 and Microsoft 365.
2. Final balances and subtotals match my control totals to the cent.
3. Code is readable, with meaningful variable names and no hard-coded file paths.
