Excel CPT Billing Entry

The task is to capture a batch of CPT billing codes in Excel with complete accuracy and a clean, easy-to-filter layout. I already know the basic columns I need but only in rough terms, so part of the job is to turn that outline into a real, working template before populating it.

Here is what must happen:
• Design an Excel sheet that suits CPT data—think columns such as Patient ID, CPT Code, Description, Units, Charge, Date of Service (I’m happy to refine these with you).
• Enter all provided CPT codes, double-checking each entry against the source documents for accuracy.
• Apply simple data-validation or dropdowns if it will reduce future entry errors.

The finished workbook should open without macros, sort and filter smoothly, and be ready for immediate upload to my practice-management system. A quick screen share once you’re done so we can verify everything lines up would be ideal.
