The Global ESG team plays a major role in supporting Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, ensuring they communicate both to leadership and at the local level to align with corporate strategy and stakeholder expectations, drives adoption at the departmental and local levels, including the capture of data points for related material topics. They support all initiatives in the following categories and are responsible for all client and competitive trends at the global level.
An ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Report Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting ESG data to support corporate sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with global reporting standards. This role bridges data analysis with strategic communication, helping organizations articulate their ESG performance to stakeholders. They create reports and dashboards that help teams monitor performance, identify trends, and make strategic choices. This role blends technical skills with business acumen and clear communication.

Data Collection & Validation - Gather ESG-related data from internal systems, external databases, and third-party sources. Ensure accuracy and completeness.

Performance Monitoring - Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to improve efficiency.

Trend Analysis & Insights - Analyze ESG metrics to identify performance trends, risks, and opportunities. Provide actionable insights to leadership.

Stakeholder Collaboration - Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, operations, HR) to gather data and align ESG goals.

Regulatory Compliance - Stay updated on evolving ESG regulations and ensure reporting meets legal and industry standards.

Knowledge of main ISO standards applicable to ESG are a real plus

Reporting & Documentation - Prepare ESG reports aligned with frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, and UNSDGs. Contribute to annual sustainability reports and stakeholder disclosures.

Tool & Platform Management - Use designated internal platforms to manage and visualize ESG data.

Minimum – Basic, mandatory work experience qualifications needed to accomplish job duties described in above "Responsibilities" section (2/3 years experience)

Ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences

Time management and multitasking skills

Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools

Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication

Attention to detail and data accuracy

Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred
Familiarity with ESG frameworks and sustainability standards

Minimum

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field

Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView)

Familiarity with database management and data warehousing

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Finance, or related field

Experience in ESG reporting, sustainability consulting, or corporate responsibility

Certifications such as GRI Certified Sustainability Professional or SASB Fundamentals are a plus
