Role Summary
The role is based out of Poland only.
The ERP Platform Release Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and governing the release lifecycle of the organization's ERP platform and its associated applications, integrations, and technology components.
This role ensures that ERP enhancements, configuration changes, and projects are coordinated, delivered in a controlled, predictable, and business-aligned manner while minimizing operational risks and disruption.
The individual acts as the central point of coordination and communication between ERP functional teams, infrastructure teams, integration specialists, business stakeholders, vendors, and project managers to ensure successful deployment and adoption of ERP platform changes.
Coordinate resources involved in the Change Management and continuous improvement of the solution
Coordinate deployment of ERP enhancements, patches, fixes, and projects.
Ensure alignment between release activities and IT change management processes and support of service owners.
Manage release dependencies, risks, and scheduling conflicts. Communicate accordingly to project stakeholders
Oversee release communications and stakeholder notifications.
Ensure proper rollback and contingency plans are defined and tested.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Serve as the primary contact for release coordination across business and IT teams.
Communicate and work closely with the ERP product owner, application managers, project managers, and business process owners.
Coordinate external vendors and system integrators involved in ERP releases.
Provide regular release status reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related field.
Experience
5+ years of experience in Release Management, M3 ERP Application Management, IT Service Management, or Project Management.
Experience managing releases for ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Infor M3, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, or similar enterprise systems – M3 Infor preferred
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in complex enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of ERP implementation, upgrade, and support processes.
