I have an existing MCOSMOS routine on a Mitutoyo CMM that needs expert attention. The part we measure is fairly intricate, full of true-position, profile, and orientation call-outs, and the current program is either missing features or flagging false deviations. My goal is to walk away with a clean, reliable routine that hits every GD&T requirement and runs without operator intervention.

What I can supply: the native 3D CAD model with its drawing as well as the current MCOSMOS program and a sample part for correlation. You will be free to probe the model, compare code, and verify touch points directly on the machine (Geopak/PartManager environment).

Your task is to review the existing program, correct any probing paths or alignment logic, add any missing datum checks, and validate that the results match the drawing. Once finished, I’d like the updated .prt file, any custom alignment schemes, and a short summary of changes so future edits are easy to follow.

Deliverables
• Revised MCOSMOS program ready to load and run
• Updated alignments and probe paths for all GD&T features
• Change log or brief write-up outlining what was fixed or added
• Confirmation run on my sample part showing all features within tolerance

If you work daily with Mitutoyo machines, MCOSMOS, Geopak, or CAT1000P and are comfortable troubleshooting complex GD&T routines, I’m ready to get started.
