I am looking for a reliable TikTok video editor to help me produce consistent, engaging short-form videos.
My content will mainly include:
• TikTok Shop and affiliate product videos
• Product demonstrations and unboxings
• Real estate videos and property tours
• Talking-head videos
• Videos created from photos, B-roll, and voiceovers
Most finished videos will be approximately 15–45 seconds long and formatted vertically in 9:16.
The ideal editor understands that TikTok videos must capture attention immediately. I need someone who can remove slow sections, create a strong opening, add readable captions, highlight important words, use appropriate sound effects, and keep the video moving without making it feel overly edited.
Responsibilities:
• Edit raw phone footage into polished TikTok videos
• Add accurate on-screen captions
• Create strong hooks during the first 1–3 seconds
• Use zooms, cuts, B-roll, text, and sound effects when appropriate
• Add product images, screenshots, prices, or calls to action
• Follow TikTok safe zones so text is not covered by buttons
• Deliver videos without watermarks
• Make reasonable revisions when needed
• Maintain a consistent editing style across multiple videos
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience editing TikTok, Reels, or YouTube Shorts
• Experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar software
• Understanding of retention, hooks, pacing, and calls to action
• Experience with TikTok Shop or affiliate content is a major plus
• Good written English for accurate captions
• Ability to communicate clearly and meet deadlines
This may become ongoing work for the right person. I expect to provide multiple videos each week, and the volume may increase over time.
To apply, please include:
1. Three examples of TikTok or short-form videos you personally edited
2. Your price per completed video
3. Your price for packages of 10 and 30 videos
4. Your normal turnaround time
5. The editing software you use
6. Whether captions and one round of revisions are included
7. The words “TikTok Editor” at the beginning of your application so I know you read the complete posting
Please do not send a general portfolio without identifying the specific videos you edited.
I will likely begin with one paid test video before selecting someone for ongoing work.
