Engaging Bar Graph Creation

I have a set of figures that need to live in one clean, well-structured Excel workbook and then be transformed into a single, polished bar graph that compares six to ten categories. After you key the data into Excel, I’d like you to style the sheet for clarity—consistent number formatting, named ranges, and easy-to-read headings—so anyone opening the file can understand it at a glance.

From there, please design a visually striking bar chart (the only chart type I need) that highlights category-to-category comparisons. Thoughtful colour choices, legible axis labels, and an unobtrusive legend are important; the goal is to make differences pop without overwhelming the viewer. Feel free to use Excel’s built-in chart tools or Power Query/PivotChart features if they speed up the workflow, but the final graph must sit in the same workbook, ready for immediate use in a presentation.

Deliverables
• One .xlsx file containing the entered data and the finished bar graph
• A high-resolution PNG or PDF export of the chart for quick sharing
