ELV Engineer – Building Systems Design & Execution (Freelance to Permanent) -- 2

Location: Hyderabad, India (Hybrid / Site visits required)

Project Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Engineer for an initial project-based consultancy, with a strong opportunity to transition into a full-time, permanent role based on performance and project pipeline. You will be responsible for the design, technical evaluation, and oversight of integrated building management and security systems.

Key Responsibilities:
* Review, design, and optimize layouts for ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control (ACS), Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), Public Address (PA/VA), and Structured Cabling.
* Prepare and verify Bill of Quantities (BOQ), technical specifications, and commercial estimations.
* Coordinate with MEP consultants, architects, and on-site execution teams to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
* Conduct periodic site visits in Hyderabad for testing, commissioning oversight, and vendor evaluation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience as an ELV Design or Execution Engineer.
* Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting technical layouts.
* Deep understanding of IP-based security architectures and integration.
* Prior experience with premium OEM systems (e.g., Honeywell, Bosch, Schneider, Siemens) is highly preferred.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently on a project basis.

Engagement Terms:
* Phase 1: Project-based contract (Milestone or hourly rate to be mutually agreed).
* Phase 2: Potential transition to a permanent, full-time position upon successful project delivery.
