I have a batch of short, talking-head clips that need to become punchy vertical reels aimed at sharing clear, bite-sized lessons. Each video already has clean audio; the job is to shape it into an engaging, easy-to-follow reel that works on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
The core format is a front-facing “talking head” shot, broken up with carefully chosen b-roll so the viewer never feels stuck on a single frame. Captions must be burned in, styled with on-screen keywords highlighted for emphasis, and timed perfectly to the speech. Wherever a concept is mentioned, cut in relevant supporting footage—screen grabs, quick stock clips, or simple graphic overlays—so the explanation lands visually as well as verbally.
Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or an equivalent NLE is fine as long as color grading, audio leveling, and smooth transitions are handled professionally. Edits should keep pacing tight (30–60 seconds each), follow vertical 9:16 framing, and export at 1080 × 1920 H.264 ready for upload.
Deliverables
• Polished vertical reels (MP4) with hard-coded captions and highlighted keywords
• One clean version without captions for repurposing
• Project file or packaged timeline so I can make minor future tweaks
After receiving the first draft, I’ll provide time-stamped feedback; revisions should be turned around quickly so we can lock each reel in no more than two rounds. If this initial set goes smoothly, there’s a steady pipeline of new lessons to edit.
