Edit Social Issue Documentary

I have a collection of interviews, supporting B-roll, and some powerful archival clips that need to be woven into a compelling, documentary-style story for YouTube. The aim is to raise awareness around a pressing social issue, so the cut has to feel authentic, emotionally engaging, and paced for an online audience.

Here’s what I need from you:
• Shape a clear narrative arc from the raw material, balancing interviews with B-roll and archival footage so viewers stay engaged from the opening hook through the final call-to-action.
• Handle the full post-production workflow—picture edit, colour correction/grading, audio clean-up and mix, and tasteful lower-thirds or on-screen text where context is helpful.
• Source or integrate rights-cleared background music and subtle sound design to heighten key moments without overshadowing the dialogue.
• Deliver a polished 16:9 master in 1080p (4K if our footage allows) ready for immediate upload, plus a 60-second trailer cut-down for social teasers.

I typically work in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, so project files compatible with either of those suites would be ideal. If you prefer Final Cut Pro or another NLE, let me know and we can coordinate.

Acceptance criteria
– Story flows logically and emotionally; no jarring jumps or information gaps.
– Audio levels are broadcast-safe with clear speech throughout.
– Colour is consistent across mixed-source material.
– Final file passes YouTube quality checks with no copyright flags.
