Dystopian Sci-Fi Book/Author Brand Identity Designer

Hi! I’m an indie writer working on my first books: a dystopian sci-fi series - a multi-series, multi-book saga set in 2111.

I’m useless at design and marketing, so please help!

I need a designer to build a complete, cohesive brand identity for this dystopian sci-fi project. Every single asset - from the logo to the graphics - must share the exact same consistent, immersive aesthetic style.

What I need:

1. Logo & brand identity: A distinct logo and a fully fleshed-out brand look and feel (including custom typography and visual styling).

2. Lore graphics: a small package of visual assets and templates for worldbuilding documents (eg character cards, dossiers and lore).

3. Social media templates: Reusable graphic templates for posting.

4. Email template: A matching, branded layout for emails.

When applying, please include links to your human portfolio showcasing previous indie book branding or sci-fi/speculative fiction design work. Though I’ll be glad to consider if you work in other genres too - if we can agree on a vision together.

NOTE: I’m new to this so am willing to negotiate either a fixed price or hourly pay. The price I set in the job form can be negotiated! It’s just a place holder price.

- Designers must have specific experience in book design, book marketing, or creating assets for fiction writers.
- Preference will be given to freelancers located in the US, UK, Canada, or Australia.
