I’m preparing for interviews on Data Privacy and Data Protection Act (DPDPA) and want a coach who can push me well beyond textbook knowledge. While my current understanding is already basic, I need to refine how I present that expertise during technical and behavioural interviews.
What I’d like us to cover
• Regulatory frameworks and compliance: GDPR, CCPA, India’s DPDP Act, ISO 27701, SOC 2 privacy criteria and how they map to real-world control environments.
• Data protection strategies and best practices: encryption, tokenisation, DLP, privacy-by-design, vendor risk, DPIAs; how to evidence effectiveness during an audit.
• Breach response and incident management: tabletop run-throughs of discovery, containment, notification timelines, and post-incident remediation, framed as interview scenarios.
How we’ll work
– Structured, live coaching sessions (video preferred) with mock interview questions, role plays and homework between meetings.
– Practical case studies drawn from ITGC, GRC and privacy audits so I can articulate end-to-end governance stories.
– A concise question bank, tailored feedback after each session, and at least one full-length simulated interview to gauge progress.
If you have hands-on audit experience, know your way around frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001 and can translate that into clear, interview-ready stories, let’s schedule our first call.
