Cinematic Book Trailer + 100 Short Videos – Dante's Divine Comedy
I am looking for a talented cinematic video editor, motion designer and AI video artist to create a complete audiovisual project based on Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy.
The project consists of 100 short videos (approximately 60 seconds each), one for every canto of the poem, plus one ambitious cinematic book trailer promoting a forthcoming narrative recreation of this literary masterpiece.
This is not a standard social media editing project. I am looking for someone with excellent artistic judgment, cinematic storytelling skills and experience bringing still illustrations to life.
1. The 100 short videos
For each canto, I will provide:
At least 10 high-resolution illustrations.
The complete Spanish voice-over script.
A detailed creative and technical brief.
The editor will transform these illustrations into immersive cinematic scenes using 2.5D/parallax, camera movement, AI image-to-video animation, atmospheric effects and cinematic transitions.
The original artistic style and character identities must be preserved. No visible AI distortions, morphing or unnatural movements.
Each video must include Spanish voice-over, bilingual Spanish/English subtitles, atmospheric music and sound design.
Format: 9:16 vertical, minimum 1080 × 1920, suitable for Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
2. The cinematic book trailer
The trailer is a more ambitious creative piece, supported by a detailed 25-page creative bible, including its narrative structure, visual concepts and voice-over text.
It follows humanity's search for meaning through thousands of years of culture, its convergence in Dante's Divine Comedy, and the poem's influence across seven centuries, culminating in an invitation for today's reader to embark on that same journey.
The objective is not conventional book advertising, but a visually powerful, emotionally engaging cinematic experience.
3. Required skills
Strong experience in:
Cinematic video editing and visual storytelling.
2.5D/parallax animation and motion graphics.
AI image-to-video tools (Kling, Runway, Veo or similar).
Cinematic sound design, music and voice-over integration.
Consistent visual quality across a large series.
Artistic sensitivity, attention to detail and respect for the original illustrations are essential.
4. Budget and delivery
I am requesting a single fixed-price quotation for the COMPLETE project: all 100 short videos plus the cinematic book trailer.
Your quotation must be ALL-INCLUSIVE, covering editing, animation, AI tools and generation costs, Spanish voice-over, English subtitle translation, subtitles, music, sound effects, commercial licences, revisions and final deliverables.
No additional production costs should be required.
The project will begin with a paid pilot video to establish the visual style. Once approved, production will proceed in batches with agreed milestones.
All final videos must be suitable for commercial use, and the client must receive the necessary commercial exploitation rights.
5. When applying

Portfolio: Your 3–5 most relevant examples, especially cinematic animation of still images.
Workflow: The software, AI tools and production approach you would use.
Experience: Examples of comparable artistic or large-scale audiovisual projects.
TOTAL FIXED PRICE: Your all-inclusive quotation for the entire project (100 videos + book trailer), including every production cost, licence and final delivery.
DELIVERY SCHEDULE: How many finished videos you could produce per week, and the total time required to complete the entire project, including the book trailer.
Deliverables: Confirmation that final videos, clean versions, subtitles and editable project files are included.
Please avoid generic proposals. I am looking for a creative professional capable of delivering a coherent, high-quality cinematic project, not mass-produced AI content.
