Digital Data E-Commerce Setup

I’m ready to turn my idea for a data-driven e-commerce store into a live site where customers can instantly purchase and download curated datasets. The store will deal exclusively in digital products, so every step—cataloguing, checkout and secure delivery—has to be optimised for frictionless downloads.

Here’s what the finished project needs to cover:

• Design and build a modern storefront (WordPress + WooCommerce, Shopify, or another platform you recommend) that highlights individual data packs and allows bundling.
• Configure secure payment processing (Stripe or PayPal preferred) with automated licence-key or link generation immediately after purchase.
• Set up a protected file-hosting workflow—customers should receive unique, expiring download links and I need a dashboard to re-issue links if required.
• Implement search, category filters, and a lightweight preview so buyers can inspect a sample before committing.
• Basic on-page SEO for my initial product range plus a straightforward method for me to add new datasets later without touching code.
• Responsive, fast loading and GDPR-compliant from day one.

Acceptance criteria: a live, password-protected staging site demonstrating a full purchase-to-download cycle, followed by migration to my production domain, complete admin documentation and a short hand-off call.
