I’m adding a real-time text chat module to my product and need a developer who can get it running smoothly for both one-to-one and group conversations. Voice or video are not in scope—this is purely text, but messages must flow instantly and remain in sync across all participants.

Core requirements
• Real-time text messaging that scales from private dialogs to larger group rooms.
• Built-in emoji / sticker picker so users can express themselves visually.
• Typing indicators, read receipts, reliable reconnection and basic moderation commands.

Nice-to-have (not mandatory, yet open to suggestion): file sharing or persistent chat history if you already have a clean way to layer those on without delaying the launch.

I’m flexible on tech stack as long as it is modern and well documented—WebSockets, Socket.IO, Firebase Realtime DB, Supabase or any proven alternative is fine. Please outline:
1. The libraries or backend you plan to use.
2. A short milestone schedule (setup, core messaging, emoji layer, group logic, QA).
3. How you will secure the traffic and keep message delivery under 200 ms on average.

Deliverables include the working source code, brief setup docs, and a quick screen-recorded demo showing two group chats running concurrently. Once everything compiles and passes my smoke tests, the project is done.
