Logistics ERP System – Import & Export Operations

A complete ERP system designed for logistics and freight forwarding companies to manage their import and export operations from one centralized system.

The system will manage the full logistics workflow, starting from customer and shipment details through to documentation, cargo handling, customs-related information, payments, expenses, and final delivery.

Main Modules

* Customer Management – Manage customers, companies, contacts, billing details, and customer history.
* Import Management – Create and manage import shipments, containers, cargo details, shipping information, arrival details, customs information, and delivery status.
* Export Management – Manage export shipments, cargo, containers, shipping schedules, booking details, documentation, and shipment status.
* Shipment Management – Track each shipment from booking through arrival/departure, customs clearance, and final delivery.
* Container Management – Manage container numbers, sizes, types, loading/unloading information, dates, and container status.
* Documentation – Upload and manage invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, airway bills, customs documents, permits, and other shipment-related documents.
* Supplier & Agent Management – Manage shipping agents, suppliers, transport companies, customs-related parties, and other service providers.
* Transport & Delivery – Manage vehicles, drivers, pickup, delivery, transport charges, and delivery status.
* Quotation & Job Management – Create quotations and convert approved quotations into logistics jobs or shipments.
* Billing & Invoicing – Generate customer invoices based on freight, handling, transport, customs, storage, and other charges.
* Payments & Receipts – Record customer payments, supplier payments, receipts, outstanding balances, and payment methods.
* Expenses & Cost Management – Record shipment-related expenses and compare shipment revenue against costs.
* Accounts & Financial Reports – Track income, expenses, receivables, payables, and profitability.
* Inventory / Warehouse Management – Manage cargo or goods stored at the company’s warehouse where required.
* User & Permission Management – Different user roles with permissions for administration, operations, accounts, documentation, and management.
* Reports & Dashboard – Management dashboard with shipment statistics, pending shipments, revenue, expenses, outstanding payments, and operational reports.
* Search & Tracking – Quickly search shipments using shipment number, customer, container number, BL/AWB number, invoice number, or other references.
* Notifications & Status Tracking – Track important shipment milestones and pending actions.

The ERP should provide a complete end-to-end workflow for both import and export operations, while keeping all customer, shipment, documentation, financial, and operational information connected within a single system.

The system should be developed as a web-based ERP, allowing authorized staff to access the system from computers and other supported devices according to their assigned permissions.
