Development Manager for SBI Life in Tiruchirapalli

I’m looking for a seasoned Development Manager who can step into SBI Life and immediately take charge of a team of 10-plus engineers. Your first mandate is to elevate day-to-day team leadership and streamline our development processes so we can ship reliably and at pace.

You’ll decide how best to structure the squad, coach leads, and introduce practical process improvements that remove bottlenecks without adding unnecessary ceremony. Because you will be guiding a large group, I’m counting on your proven strength in resource allocation—matching people, skills, and timelines so that every sprint delivers visible value.

Success here will be measured by:
• A clear, data-backed resource plan for the next two quarters
• Documented process tweaks that cut cycle time or defect rate (with before/after metrics)
• Noticeable lift in team engagement and ownership, reflected in regular pulse surveys
