Urgent Medical Figure Revision for Scientific Publication
I need an experienced medical/scientific illustrator to revise an existing figure for a peer-reviewed plastic surgery manuscript. This is NOT a complete redesign. The existing visual style, layout, anatomy, colors and overall appearance should be preserved as closely as possible.
I will provide:
1. The clean original figure.
2. Photos showing my supervisor’s handwritten corrections.
The corrections mainly concern the visualization of vascularized lymph node transfer (VLNT) combined with DIEP flap breast reconstruction. Required revisions include:
• Greater visual focus on lymphatic drainage from the arm toward the axilla/VLNT.
• Addition/clarification of the regenerative mechanism of VLNT.
• Revision of the donor-site safety / reverse lymphatic mapping section: the current upper-limb illustration should be replaced by an anatomically appropriate groin/inguinal-region illustration, showing preservation of relevant lymphatic collectors/nodes during lymph-node harvest.
• The “restored lymphatic flow” panel should emphasize restored drainage of the upper extremity/arm toward the axilla.
• Implement the remaining handwritten corrections visible in the annotated reference.
Important: Please do not independently redesign or reinterpret the figure. The goal is to implement the supervisor’s corrections accurately while keeping the original publication-ready style.
I need a high-resolution publication-ready final image and, ideally, an editable source file (PSD/AI/PPTX).
This is urgent and ideally needs to be completed within the next few hours. Please only accept if you can start immediately.
