I have two XML files that share the same element hierarchy but carry mixed data types inside each node. I need a compact Delphi (Pascal) routine that will read both files, walk through every matching node and:

• add up any numeric values it encounters
• concatenate any textual content (ideally with a space separator)

The resulting values must be written to a third XML file that mirrors the exact structure of the originals—no flattened or custom layouts, just the same tags with the newly combined content.

Deliverables
• Complete Delphi source code (I work with modern Embarcadero versions, so please keep it Unicode-safe)
• A small demo project or console app showing the routine in action
• Brief comments or README explaining key steps and how to run the merge

Acceptance
Running the demo against my sample files should output an XML document whose nodes hold the summed numbers and concatenated strings while preserving the original element order and attributes.
