I want to spend a focused live session with an experienced verification engineer who can walk me, in technical depth, through the entire UCIe (Universal Chiplet Interconnect Express) verification flow. During the call I need to understand not only the theory but also how it is applied day-to-day inside a UVM-based environment or any other framework you routinely use.
Please be ready to drill into:
• Test case creation – stimulus generation, constraint random techniques, corner-case injection, and reusable sequences specific to UCIe’s layered protocol.
• Coverage analysis – functional and code coverage strategy, scoreboard hooks, coverage closure dashboards, and how to interpret gaps for UCIe features such as FLIT types, link training states, and error-handling paths.
• Debugging techniques – waveform inspection, protocol checkers, assertion debug, common failure signatures on the PHY/Link layers, and tips for shortening root-cause time.
Session logistics
– Live delivery via Zoom, Meet, or Teams (share screens and waveforms).
– Target duration: ~2 hours, but I’m flexible.
– You may use slides, scripts, or a demo testbench; if you have reusable material please share it afterward.
Acceptance
I should leave the session confident that I can:
1. Write at least one constrained-random test that exercises a specific UCIe link feature.
2. Build a coverage model that reports meaningful functional metrics for that feature.
3. Apply a repeatable debug flow to isolate a protocol violation.
If this is your everyday work and you enjoy teaching, let’s schedule our call.
