Data entry and cleaning

I have a collection of records that contain both narrative fields and numerical values and I need them transcribed with a very high degree of accuracy. The source material will be supplied once we start; the volume is moderate but the figures must reconcile perfectly with the text elements that accompany them.

You are free to work in Excel, Google Sheets, or a similar table-based tool—whatever lets you deliver clean, well-structured data that I can filter and sort right away. I will provide a short sample so we can confirm layout and conventions (dates, currency symbols, abbreviations) before you proceed with the full batch.

Deliverable
• A single file containing every record, with text exactly as written and numbers entered in plain number format (no hard-coded commas or currency signs).
• A quick check report noting any illegible or ambiguous entries you encounter so I can clarify.
