Dark Artistic Music Video Editing

I have a set of raw performance and B-roll clips that need to be shaped into a dark, moody, and artistic music video. Beyond simple cuts, I’m looking for an edit packed with creative effects, seamless transitions, and expressive colour work that deepens the track’s atmosphere.

The visual palette must feature the following:
• Glitch and distortion moments that punch on beat
• Layers of film-grain and vintage texture for an aged, cinematic feel
• Slow-motion passages accented with subtle light leaks to heighten emotion

Once the footage is synced to the song, the story should flow naturally while still feeling experimental. Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects are all fine—use whatever lets you push the grade, composite the chosen effects, and keep everything clean and export-ready.
