I need a small piece of code that pulls six specific indicators for a list of equities every trading day: Moving Averages, Relative Strength Index (RSI), Bollinger Bands, Fisher9, Market Capitalization, and both ROCE and ROE.
A simple Python script is ideal because it lets me schedule the task on a cron job and drop the results straight into either a CSV file or a lightweight SQLite database; if you prefer another language that can hit the same reliability targets, I’m open to it. The source can be Yahoo Finance, Alpha Vantage, or another free API as long as the data is accurate and each call stays within any daily-rate limits.
Please include:
• Clear setup instructions (API key, dependencies, scheduler).
• A single command I can trigger to fetch the day’s data.
• Cleanly commented functions so I can extend the indicator list later if needed.
I’ll consider the job complete once I can run the script locally, see the indicators populate for a sample ticker list I provide, and have today’s data written to disk without errors.
