I want a steady stream of fully-legitimate travel bargains gathered from every corner of the web and delivered to me in a concise, actionable format. The focus is worldwide: cruises, trains, airlines, resorts, hotels and full holiday packages.
Cruise bargains are especially valuable when they involve seasonal promotions, repositioning sailings, fare-posting errors or any other unforeseen opportunity that creates a standout price. For flights I’m after the same: genuine error fares, sharp seasonal sales, repositioning flights and any surprise flash deal that slips through for a short window. Trains, resorts, hotels and package holidays round out the brief, so if an incredible rate appears there, it belongs in the report too.
Scope of work
• Monitor dozens of reliable sources—official carrier sites, consolidators, newsletters, forums such as FlyerTalk, SecretFlying, CruiseCritic, TravelZoo, Google Flights alerts, ITA Matrix, Skyscanner and similar tools—to spot new deals as soon as they post.
• Verify that each deal is book-able and not a phantom fare; no click-bait or expired links.
• Capture the deal details: dates, routing/itinerary, cabin or room type, base fare, total fare, taxes/fees, booking link and the timestamp you found it.
• Flag any restrictive conditions (e.g., non-refundable, residency rules, hidden surcharges) so I can see the true value at a glance.
Delivery cadence
Ideally I receive a short update the same day a major deal surfaces. Where pickings are slim, roll the finds into a weekly digest. Flexibility is fine as long as I never miss a genuine gem that fits the criteria above.
Preferred format
A Google Sheet (shared) works best for ongoing tracking, with a brief email or Slack ping highlighting the day’s standout offer. Screenshots of fare calendars or OTA pages are helpful for error fares that may disappear quickly.
Acceptance criteria
• Every entry must link to a live, book-able fare at the time you log it.
• Cruise and airline deals must clearly satisfy at least one of these: seasonal promo, repositioning, fare error, or other unforeseen rate drop.
• No duplicated or already-expired offers in the daily/weekly file.
