Custom Theme Development for Vantrex Labs

I’m looking for an experienced website developer to build a high-quality custom website for my brand, Vantrex Labs.

I want the new website to follow the reference closely in its overall structure, proportions, visual quality, animations and user experience, while using original code and my own Vantrex Labs branding, colours, wording, product images and assets.

Shopify is my preferred platform, ideally as a custom Online Store 2.0 Liquid theme. However, I’m open to another suitable platform or custom technology—including WordPress/WooCommerce, Webflow or a custom React/Next.js application—if it can reproduce the reference more accurately. Please explain which platform you recommend, why, and any ongoing hosting or maintenance requirements.

I am initially seeking a strong, functional base that can be refined afterward. This is a private research and learning prototype. It will not be launched publicly, and payment processing must remain disabled.

Required work:

• Complete homepage and reusable product-page templates
• Catalogue/collection page, search, navigation, mobile menu, FAQ, testing/documentation and contact pages
• Responsive desktop, tablet and mobile layouts
• Opening logo/splash animation with particles and a smooth transition into the homepage
• Animated hero section and sliders
• Scroll-triggered section reveals
• Hover animations and interactive product cards
• Sticky header and polished menu interactions
• Similar spacing, typography scale and light/dark section balance to the reference
• Vantrex Labs navy, electric-blue, white and silver colour system
• Products and collections connected dynamically through the selected platform
• Simple editing controls for text, images, colours, products and animations
• Reduced-motion accessibility setting and a skippable splash screen
• Good mobile performance and SEO structure
• Cart and checkout disabled or replaced with “Private research prototype” notices
• Original implementation without copying protected logos, photographs, written content or proprietary source code from the reference site

Deliverables:

• Complete editable source code
• Working desktop and mobile website
• A Shopify upload-ready ZIP if Shopify is selected
• Installation, hosting and editing instructions
• List of required product fields or metafields
• All permitted animation and JavaScript files included
• Testing across current Chrome, Safari and mobile browsers
• A working preview before final payment
• Reasonable correction period for visual and functional issues
• Full ownership and access to the completed project files

Please do not bid if you can only install and lightly customise an off-the-shelf template. I need someone capable of building a genuinely custom, polished website with advanced frontend animation.
