I operate a small solar-panel installation business that also fabricates smaller panels in-house and stores goods across several warehouses. I need a custom inventory management web app that brings end-to-end visibility to every SKU before we expand further.

Scope and key flow
• Phase 1 focuses on inventory across all warehouses and SKUs. The database must let me add, edit, or retire SKUs at any time.
• Each item record must always show:
– Warehouse location, exact shelf/bin, full stock movements
– Serial numbers, warranty details, related installation project
– Raw materials consumed, finished panels produced, and any components used
• Stock moved between warehouses should sit in a “pending transfer” state until the receiving location confirms arrival; once acknowledged, quantities automatically reconcile.
• Additional modules should slot in seamlessly after the core is stable: purchase orders & supplier tracking, user role/permission control, sales tickets that can be opened and assigned like trouble tickets, and a lightweight distributor portal.

Deliverables
1. Technical design (ERD, API routes, wireframes) approved before coding
2. Fully developed web application with responsive UI
3. Source code, database scripts, and install guide
4. Short training video plus inline documentation

Quality gates
– All data edits and transfers must log user, timestamp, and before/after values
– Role-based access must restrict warehouse actions appropriately
– System passes UAT with sample SKUs, a mock purchase order, a multi-step transfer, and a sales ticket linked to the resulting install project

Preferred stack is flexible; frameworks such as Django, Laravel, Node/Express, or similar are welcome so long as they support REST/GraphQL endpoints and can later pair with mobile apps.
