Custom Linux Hosting Panel

I need a full-featured web hosting control panel built from scratch for Linux servers, offering a user experience on par with spanel.io or cPanel. The panel must let me create and manage websites, domains, and DNS records; set up email accounts, databases, and a browser-based file manager; and include integrated server monitoring, scheduled backups, and practical security tools such as firewall rules, malware scan hooks, and SSL provisioning.

You are free to choose the stack as long as it is open-source friendly, stable, and well documented. Clean, modular code is essential because I intend to extend the platform later. A modern, responsive interface is equally important; I want end users to feel as comfortable as they would in cPanel.

Deliverables
• An installable package (or scripted installer) for major Linux distributions
• Source code in a Git repository with clear commit history
• Documentation: user guide, admin guide, and developer setup notes
• Final demo on a live Linux VPS proving all stated features work together

Acceptance criteria
1. I can provision a fresh Linux server and, within one script, have the panel online and accessible over HTTPS.
2. Creating a new domain automatically updates Apache/Nginx, DNS, and SSL without manual edits.
3. Email, database, and file manager functions are usable immediately after domain creation.
4. Real-time resource usage, backup scheduling, and restore functions operate without errors.
5. Security scans complete and report clearly in the dashboard.
